How Ijaya is desperately working with some unscrupulous elements to bastardize our culture


We are compelled to write once again on the news making the round that plans have been put in place to install the member representing Remo Federal Constituency at the green chamber, Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga as the Yeye Oba of Makun, Sagamu. 

  Information reaching us has it that a substantial amount of money has been given to Lisa Makun, Losi Makun, Awabat, Baba Kay, Akoje and S.K Onafowokan to achieve the aim.  The aforementioned people have been charged with the sole duty of compromising others into agreeing with the choice of their paymistress - IJAYA.  In fact, they are vigorously to quicken the process and install her. The installation, which they initially thought of holding on Sunday, 20th of September, 2020 has been backdated to Thursday, 17th of September 2020 in their desperate move to conclude the installation rites and process. 

  It is regrettable that those who should be upholding and preserving our culture are found in such a mess. Though, we are aware that these money mongers can do anything just to fill their pockets, we won't open our eyes and watch them bastardize the norms. We wish to reiterate that Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga (Ijaya) is not fit for the position of Yeye Oba of Makun, Sagamu. The position is reserved for highly intelligent and experienced women of ripe age who are in return saddled with the role of a mother to the Ewusi. 

  Hence, we call on the State Governor, H.E, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun and concerned sons and daughters of Sagamu to call these people to order and mandate them not to mess up the laid down procedures out of their love for money.  We equally call on the Ewusi of Makun Kingdom, Oba Timothy Oyesola Akinsanya not allow the urge for money to supercede his primary duty of protecting and upholding the ethics of our culture. He (Oba Ewusi) was alleged to have gotten lion share of the fifteen million naira given to the Lisa of Makun, Losi of Makun, Awabat, Baba Kay, Akoje and S.K Onafowokan by Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga (Ijaya).  The money was doled out after Ijaya realised the amount of pressure from different quarters which does not favour her.

      Lies Lies Lies. The rites have not been been brought forward and we need evidence of any financial compensation or golden handshake being received. These are just false allegations to maliciously slander characters of the aforementioned. I will urge those behind this so blog to desist from such childish, pathetic and highly laughable and futile attempt to bring disrepute to notable Sagamu sons and daughters. It should also be noted that Ewusi is not a hungry royal father or driven by financial gains. He is an exemplary king whose number 1 love is the welfare of his subjects and kingdom.
